Welcome to an exciting year of 2nd grade at Desert Mountain! Our 2nd grade classroom, Gartman's Garden Guardians, has its very own habitat! In our habitat we have a butterfly and hummingbird garden, a pond filled with fish, frogs, and dragonflies, a desert tortoise by the name of Ted, and an area where we will be growing vegetables! Our classroom philosophy is "Nurture Nature!". There is no more magical place than the great outdoors!
